Charlotte Church
Charlotte Church, a Welsh singer who was just 12 when she recorded her album debut "Voice of an Angel" She became a household name. She's a gifted actor and singer who has also hosted television programs. She has shown a knack for singing from an early age and has been singing publicly from the time she was 3 and one-half years old. In her early years, she started out as a classical singer of hymns. She also sang "Pie Jesu" over the phone for a telecast show when she turned 11. That was followed by a performance in "The Big Big Talent Show" that brought her to the notice of the public. The opportunity came to perform at the Royal Albert Hall and Cardiff Arms Park. Charlotte's musical talent was discovered from Jonathan Shalit, one of UK's most successful entertainment executives and who assisted her in signing an agreement with Sony Music and became her manager. She became the youngest singer to be a part of a chart-topping album when she released her debut, 'Voice of an Angel. The album came out in 1999. The British crossover classical charts ranked her album as No. number one in 1999. Her fame continued to increase as time passed and she had been invited to perform for famous people like the former US President Clinton The Prince of Wales Charles and Pope John Paul II.
