Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's children was born in Woodland Hills in the year 1956. Her father was an elementary school teacher, and her mom was an at-home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two brothers older. McCormick has always loved singing, dancing and performing show puppets. Her fairytale rise to fame began when she was crowned her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was six, which prompted being contacted by the talent agent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency who asked whether she wanted to be in show business. McCormick was hired to star in her first big performance in 1964 on a tv commercial for Mattels latest doll Baby Pattaburp. The following year she appeared in another commercial for Mattels Chatty Cathy doll and was shortly cast in the musical Wind It Up And It Breaks on stage at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won an audition in 1969 from over 1200 kids to be the youngest of three twins in the TV program The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed together with Robert Reed. The show lasted for five seasons. McCormick in her memoir Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice Published In 2008 McCormick told of how in the fifth season of the TV show she almost lost the love of her life to her twin brother Barry Williams. The actress was just 16 years old, and the actor 19 at the at the time. We would've had a romance, she said. However, the timing was not right.
